World AIDS Day (1st Dec) is fast approaching and Brigstowe are proud to announce our events to mark this important calendar event. Since 1988, communities have stood together to show strength and solidarity against HIV stigma and to remember lives lost.

Red Ribbon Flag Raising. Join us outside City Hall on Monday 25th November at 2.30pm where we will be raising the red ribbon flag which will fly up to World AIDS Day. Bristol Lord Mayor, Cllr Andrew Varney will be raising the flag and light refreshments will be served in City Hall afterwards. ~ Remembrance Vigil It is important to provide a space for the community to remember and reflect on our loved ones who we have lost to HIV and AIDS. We will be joined by various speakers and also invite attendees to bring their own personal thoughts, reflections or reading if they would like to share on the evening.
