Celebrating funding for Positive Voices

We are delighted to announce that, in April, Brigstowe was awarded continuation funding from The National Lottery Community Fund for our Positive Voices service.

This funding means that our 1to-1 peer support service, clinic peer support, All In Group peer support, and HIV awareness training will continue to be funded until June 2030!

We are incredibly grateful to The National Lottery Community Fund. This is our third round of funding for Positive Voices, which is a real testament to the impact of the service and the positive change that people living with HIV – supported by our dedicated volunteers – continue to make.

To all our volunteers, past and present, thank you so very much. We simply could not run this service without your commitment, compassion, and support.

If you would like to find out more about our All In Peer Support Group or be introduced to a peer mentor who is also living with HIV, please get in touch.

Our volunteer peer mentors draw on their own lived experience to offer understanding, encouragement and practical support. They can share their experiences, provide emotional support, discuss coping strategies and be a listening ear when you need someone to talk to. They can also support you in exploring your own goals and help you move forward with greater confidence.

Whether you are newly diagnosed, adjusting to life with HIV, or simply looking to connect with someone who understands, our peer mentors are here to support you. Please contact us to find out more.
