Every year, Brigstowe has a key fundraising event and this year is no different!
Brigstowe is excited to announce that we have been allocated a number of charity spaces for this year’s Bristol 10k.
Looking for a fun challenge or goal to set yourself for the New Year? Then why not choose Brigstowe as your charity of choice and take part in this fabulous event?
Run individually, mobilise your friends, family or work colleagues, set yourself a time target and a fundraising target, and let’s all start training!
We can assure you, you will have lots of fun, build relationships with the other Brigstowe runners (we’re all a family here), and get fit, whilst knowing that you have achieved something incredible and that your support will make a massive difference to people living with HIV.
We are here for you; we will provide an abundance of support to help you cross that finish line, such as training tips, motivation, suggested running playlists, and lots of hints and tips to help you smash your individual fundraising target of £200!
If you’re interested, register your space by contacting Louise at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling us on 0117 9555 038.
Want to run a half marathon instead? We’d love for you to run for Brigstowe still! Contact us and we can discuss this with you.
The 10k route starts in the city centre and takes runners past the vibrant waterfront before crossing on to Spike Island, through Wapping Wharf and a loop around the beautiful Queen Square which marks the halfway point – runners then cross over into Redcliffe before rounding the historical Castle Park on a final section through Old City, before the grandstand finish on Anchor Road.
The half marathon route takes runners past the vibrant waterfront and out along the beautiful and peaceful Avon Gorge passing under the world-famous Clifton Suspension Bridge, before joining the 10k route at Spike Island.
