Cost
All our advice and support services are free as we receive funding for them.

Our three services are:-

Information and Advice Service

We provide independent information and advice including housing, welfare benefits and health and community care.

This service is funded by the Department of Health Aids Support Grant, Henry Smith Charity and Lloyds TSB Foundation and is available if you live in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, or Bath and North East Somerset.

Migrant Advice and Support Service

Our Information, Advice and Support Service for People with No Recourse to Public Funds is now known as the MIGRANT ADVICE AND SUPPORT SERVICE.

It provides advice, information and support to people who are unable to access public funds, are subject to immigration control and who have been granted leave to remain within the past twelve months.

We can offer one to one support for up to nine months that is flexible, depending on your needs and within your own home. The service provides:

  • Practical and emotional advice support to help you find and manage your accommodation
  • Support to access health and medical treatments
  • Support with budgeting, managing debts and bill payments
  • Help to apply for grants for things you need
  • Help to access other agencies, eg Adult Community Care or Children and Young People's Services
  • Assistance with training and education
  • Assistance to access community and leisure activities

We are not permitted to give advice on immigration or asylum but we can help you find and use local immigration services and fill in forms.  For example, assisting with the completion of NASS support and Section 4 support applications.

This service is funded by the Equality and Human Rights Commission and is available if you live in Bristol, South Gloucestershire, North Somerset, or Bath and North East Somerset.
