  • £172,432.72 is the amount gained last year in grants, benefits, tax credits etc. on behalf of our clients through Brigstowe. We pass 100% of this money on to the client
  • 48% of our clients are female
  • More than half (53%) of our clients are heterosexual

With your help we can raise the vital funds to help a client in distress.

 

  • 23%, almost a quarter, of our clients has 'no recourse to public funds'. This means they cannot claim any benefits when they are too ill to work or are looking for a job
  • £3.90 will pay for the bus fare to collect their HIV medicine from Southmead Hospital
  • £5 will top up a mobile phone so they can contact employers, family and friends, or their advice worker at Brigstowe
  • £10 will buy enough gas on a pre-payment meter to heat a small flat for 1 week
