Quality of life for people living with HIV
The Brigstowe Project offers free confidential and independent information, advice and support for people affected by HIV who live in the Bristol area.
We work to meet the needs of the person to improve their quality of life.
For more information, see What we do. We can provide an interpreter if English is not your first language.
Volunteering
Our management committee needs enthusiastic new members and trustees with the time and energy to take a proactive role in sustaining and furthering our work. In return we will provide support and training. Please contact us for further information.
Funding
Brigstowe is funded by a number of different local authorities and grant giving organisations. Funding is in place for 2011-2012 and we are proactively working to maintain funding by developing our services.
The Government's Transition Fund awarded Brigstowe £37,949, and we continue to be funded by Bristol City Council, South Gloucestershire Council, North Somerset Council and the Henry Smith Charity. We also receive smaller grants from other organisations for specific projects, and donations are always welcome.
